Po’olenalena means “yellow head” in the Hawaiian language. It’s the name of a large rock, located on the 5th hole of the Wailea Blue Golf Course. The rock has a dark color with yellow streaks on its sides.
Maluaka Beach fronts the Makena Beach and Golf Resort, (formerly the Maui Prince Hotel). The North end of the beach offers the best views of Makena‘s Puu Olai cinder cone.
In Iao Valley you will be surrounded by nature, the sun and Iao’s misty rain.
